Outage 8/21 (Update)

Dear clients:
Here is the latest verbal report I have received-we are still waiting for
the official report out from our IDC:
A third party vendor was working on the UPS units (back-up power) and needed
to test the unit. When performing these tests, they are responsible for
tranferring power over to another source. They missed this step of transfer
and the power was out only momentarily; however, all servers had to be rebooted
and brought back up which explains the 20 minute outage.
I am working with the IDC to ensure they are creating a Pre-Task Plan for
all future PM's on any Power sources and/or internet access that could affect
the end-user.
